Hima-Sella have an excellent working partnership with Proplan (formerly Boyko Strey), who provide graphic display solutions utilising modern techniques, in reproducing visual images of plant and control systems. Tiled mosaics, screen printing foil and rear projected display products are available, plus a range of digital and bar graph indicating instruments suitable for housing within the foil or mosaic mimics.
The flexibility and construction of their product make them an ideal choice when supplying safety-related control solutions. Because of the versatility of the product, we are able to provide a range of systems from a simple desktop display to a full wall plant replica.
We have completed mimics and mosaics as far afield as Taiwan (Ho-Ping power station) and, closer to home, for the Swords project near Dublin.
Hima-Sella have supplied target training systems with product partner Theissen Training Systems for a number of years and have secured many large contracts with the Ministry of Defence and other defence based organisations.
Hima-Sella and Theissen provide target training systems for all types of applications including infantry training, tank / vehicle training and enemy fire simulation.
Many of the systems we provide are complex in nature and carry out different functions thereby allowing a smaller number of systems overall, and making it more economical for the end user.

A large selection of the systems we supply also have the advantage of thermal imaging for night training and are manufactured out of robust components which makes them suitable for training in extreme conditions, including temperatures as low as –25C.
Hima-Sella also supply enemy fire simulators and visual hit indicators to help create complete conflict situations.
All of the systems available from Hima-Sella can be plotted into a Location of Miss and Hit (LOMAH) programme by using a non-contact hit sensor system with sonic technology to detect accuracy of firing.
The results are then analysed for use in future training sessions to enhance the quality of training time by means of specific scenario programming.

Hima-Sella's partnership with Vollert led recently to a very interesting project, which saw the completion of what is understood to be the largest shunting locomotive in Britain, measuring over 15 metres long and weighing 151 tons.
Vollert are well respected in the field of automation and have a reputation for their use of innovative technology, an example of which is the manufacture of shunting robots. As a result, the partnership between Hima-Sella and Vollert looks likely to lead to increased potential for providing automation solutions to any industry which makes use of shunting locos and shunting systems. |
