Funkwerk & Hima-Sella team up to address UK rail market

Hima-Sella has teamed up with Funkwerk Information Technologies Karlsfeld GmbH to offer the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and service of Customer Information (CIS) and Public Address (PA) systems to the UK rail market in 2008.
Funkwerk is among the leading European suppliers of operations control technology and has been developing integrated control systems for rail bound public transport for more than 20 years. Well known for developing, manufacturing and delivering Passenger Information Systems (PIS) in the European public transportation market, Funkwerk’s success in the UK continues, with two projects due for completion this year - delivery of Customer Information Systems to train operators First Capital Connect and Northern Rail.
Hima-Sella specialises in systems integration in safety, control and automation applications and will now provide Funkwerk’s UK customers with its experienced project management and engineering capabilities.
