Hima-Sella is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Elliott as account manager; he was formerly with Transmitton, part of Siemens Transportation Systems in the UK.

The appointment will help Hima-Sella grow its existing rail business, expand into new areas and provide solutions for CIS/PA and SCADA. Chris will also support Hima-Sella’s sales team in process, oil and gas markets.

Chris joins Hima-Sella following ten years at rail systems integration specialist Transmitton. He was a key member of the sales team that developed an extensive portfolio of electrification, telecommunications and signalling solutions for the rail industry that resulted in the sale of Transmitton to Siemens Transportation Systems in 2005. Prior to that, Chris spent nine years at electrical power engineers Brush Electrical Machines, having first joined in 1988 as an apprentice.
