Another Hima-Sella innovation is the GPS
clock - designed and developed in-house - which provides positional
and speed data over an RS485 port. This data can be used for tracking
vehicles such as locomotives, goods vehicles and mobile plant machinery
and can also be used for time synchronisation on PLC and data logging
devices.
Aswell as working in the rail industry, we have
extensive experience of loco-upgrade projects in the steel industry,
providing radio remote control and telemetry solutions on locomotives
for more cost-effective, reliable plant and machinery operation. Our
Safe Radio Remote Control solutions are certified to safety requirement
Class 6DIN V 19250 and to SIL 3.
