We provide the following systems either on their own or as part of a multiple safety system, which incorporates a combination of different safety solutions.

Burner Management Systems (BMS)
The systems we provide are designed with reliability, safety, and flexibility in mind. We offer fault tolerant re­dundant systems, custom designed to ensure maximum security and safety. These are Intelligent burner management solutions, which integrate burner automation into a scaleable, programmable safety system. Our experience enables us to provide a safe, reliable, and user-friendly system which is compatible with existing customer equipment.

Emergency Shutdown (ESD)
We design and build shutdown systems ranging from a small relatively simple ESD requiring a moderate number of I/O to very complex highly distributed, multiple application systems with I/O numbers in the thousands, which might require certification to SIL3. Systems can be hardwired or programmable, or a combination of both depending on what is most appropriate. We also ensure that our solutions allow for trouble free interface with all major DCS systems. We have functional safety management certification, which proves that we have the capability to supply safety-related products and services that conform to the requirements of IEC 61508.

Fire and Gas Detection (F&G)
We provide integrated fire and gas and process control systems for high hazard applications which are suitable for oil & gas installations, LNG plants, chemical plants and refineries. Our fire and gas systems incorporate hard wired or programmable electronic safety systems and we can design the I/O racks and cabling so that if required it will allow for selective shutdown of monitoring facilities without affecting other plant areas. Our systems are designed to respond effectively and reliably to hazard and be tolerant of the environment and working procedures.

High Integrity Pressure Protection (HIPPS)
We provide HIPPS solutions up to and including SIL3 to protect plant and equipment against over pressurisation. We supply systems both onshore and offshore and we are currently developing a subsea HIPPS requirement for the oil and gas industry. We can provide the complete HIPPS loop application consisting of pressure transmitters and manifolds, logic solver, solenoid valves, hydraulic/pneumatic actuators and valves of all types and manufacturers, e.g. BEL, Petrolvalves, Tyco FCT, VTI etc. Alternative arrangements are also possible for a completely bespoke design to provide effective pressure protection wherever it is needed.
