In 2002, Hima-Sella worked with BNFL Magnox with whom we implemented a suite of control systems to oversee the safe operation of the fuel rods in the Sizewell A Reactor.

Our panels replace an older electro-mechanical system which utilised a solid state frequency generator.

We met the strict standards which are inherent to the nuclear industry in addition to achieving a high level of EMC performance.

Other projects we have undertaken with BNFL in recent years include radio remote control systems for nuclear flask handling cranes and various types of process control panels at the Sellafield, Risley, Thorp and Springfield and Capenhurst sites.
