Sellafield Ltd, Hinton House, Risley, Warrington
Stand A15
|
Description:
Hima-Sella's Functional Safety specialist, Ian Parry, will be on hand to discuss safety related shutdown and control systems which it has already installed in nuclear plants across the UK, and how the new HIMax technology which it introduced late last year, is expected to lead to greater plant efficiency, increased safety and reduced operating costs.
Alongside Ian, Paul Shaw will be highlighting Hima-Sella's panel building capabilities which range in size and complexity from the very small, basic wall mounted variety to a much larger room sized panel - and anything in between.
The Hinton House complex houses around 2,000 people and has served as the nuclear industry's major administrative base since 1971. The majority of the people are employed on engineering related activities with others providing functional support.
Please note: This event is only open to valid pass-holders and pre-registered external visitors.
