Description:
Hima-Sella's Functional Safety specialist, Ian Parry, will be on hand to discuss safety related shutdown and control systems which it has already installed in nuclear plants across the UK, and how the new HIMax technology which it introduced late last year, is expected to lead to greater plant efficiency, increased safety and reduced opĀerating costs. AlonĀgside Ian, Paul Shaw will be highlighting Hima-Sella's panel building capabilities which range in size and complexity from the very small, basic wall mounted variety to a much larger room sized panel - and anything in between.
Activities around Sellafield, one of the largest nuclear engineering centres in the world, are centred around remediation, decommissioning and clean up of the history legacy. The site is home to the THORP and Magnox reprocessing plants, the Sellafield MOX plant and a wide range of waste management and effluent treatment facilities.
